Our mission is simple: to give independent writers a cozy, curated space to showcase their stories and to offer affordable merch and services designed specifically for the indie author journey. The more voices we bring together, the more magic we create for both authors and readers.

Our Services

At Indies&Ink, our mission is to support indie authors at every stage of their journey. We offer a variety of services designed to help you grow, create, and publish with confidence, from completely FREE resources to full-service packages up to $125. We let you decide how you want to be involved, giving the power back to the Indie Authors!

  • The Indie Author Page gives you a completely FREE personal author page on our website. Your page will showcase links to your books, a short author bio, and a custom-designed shirt created just for your brand. You can also choose to sell your books directly through our site. All of this…absolutely FREE! To sign up go to the Indie Author Page under Author Services!

  • Additional Merch Designs are a great way to expand your branding and offer your readers even more ways to support your work. We can create extra merch items such as tees, sweatpants, cups, blankets, and more.

  • Manuscript Formatting is the perfect way to get your book ready for print or KDP. I professionally format your front matter, chapters, headers, footers, body text, and back matter to meet standard publishing guidelines. Your manuscript will look clean, consistent, and ready for publication (This formatting is in regards to getting the manuscript in a place ready for print, editing the story is not included).

  • Cover design is incredibly important, it’s the very first impression your book makes. At Indies&Ink, we offer clean, eye-catching cover designs tailored to your vision. You tell us what you want, and we bring it to life. Pricing starts at $25 for a paperback cover, $35 for a hardcover, or $50 for a bundle that includes both.

  • Story Coaching and Author Support is something many indie writers genuinely need. Sometimes you just need to talk your story out loud, other times you need guidance from someone who’s been in your shoes. This service gives you the space to discuss your book idea, shape your plot, solve story problems, break through writing blocks, or simply talk to someone who truly gets it. Sessions range from $15 for 30 minutes to $30 for a full hour.

  • This bundle includes everything you need to get your book ready for readers, professional formatting, a custom paperback cover, a 30-minute coaching session, and two additional merch designs to help grow your brand. All of this for $70

  • The Full Story Bundle is the ultimate package for indie authors ready to take the next big step. This bundle includes professional formatting, a custom paperback and hardcover design, a full one-hour coaching session, and four additional merch designs to elevate your brand, all for just $125

FAQs

  • No! Services are available to any indie author, whether you're featured on the site or not. The only one you will need a page for is the Merch options. Your author page is optional and completely free.

  • Simply select the service you want on the website, complete the form and you’ll receive an invoice and an email within one week with next steps!

  • Turnaround time varies based on workload, but most projects are completed within one-two weeks. Rush options may be available upon request.

  • You’ll need:

    • Your full manuscript in Word or Google docs

    • Any front matter or back matter details you want included

    • Trim size preference (if you know it, optional)

      I’ll take care of the rest!

  • You’ll need:

    • Your book title & author name (Author Bio and picture for back)

    • Your synopsis for your story

    • A short description of the vibe or elements you want

    • Colors, images, or inspiration (optional)

      All covers are created using Canva and delivered in print-ready format.

  • Not at this time. Indies&Ink focuses on formatting, cover design, story coaching, and merch branding. However, you can check our Provider Directory for trusted editors.

  • Yes! Each service includes one round of revisions. Additional revisions can be added for a small fee. Covers are sent with three options, if none of the options are selected one more will be sent.

  • These sessions are tailored to you! We can:

    • Talk through your story idea

    • Solve plot holes

    • Help with character arcs

    • Brainstorm twists

    • Work through writer’s block

    • Or you can simply talk through your story to someone who gets it. It’s your time!

  • Bundles combine multiple services at a discounted rate.
    Just select the bundle, submit your info, and you’ll receive a step-by-step email guiding you through each part of the process.

  • Due to the time and creative labor involved, services are non-refundable once work has begun. However, if you need to reschedule a coaching session or fix an error, just reach out, we’re flexible!

  • Of course! Just email indiesandink@gmail.com and we’ll find a new time that works for you.

  • Yes! Any merch designs created through your purchase will be added to your author page and available for readers to buy.

  • The mission of Indies and Ink is to help indie authors build their brand and share their stories with the world. We provide each author with their own dedicated space and even offer custom merchandise, like the personalized tees, to help get their name out there. Authors can showcase their work and choose to sell through our online shop, giving them another avenue to reach readers.

    Our long-term vision is to attend markets, book fairs, and other events to sell our authors’ books in person and spread the word about our platform. One day, we hope to grow Indies and Ink into a full brick-and-mortar bookstore where indie voices can truly shine. We may be starting small, but our dreams are anything but!
